The corporate whores pull out all stops to demonize the guy who threatened the banking industry. Notice that none of this is about what is actually IN the state department leaks and these people were silent during previous US government stuff appearing on Wikileaks. This is all about the threat that Assange has dirt on a major bank - that's when the fake rape charges and the 24/7 corporate whore smear campaign by the media started.

So true. It infuriates me that so many people refuse to see how the major corporations and the ultra-wealthy have completely captured the gov't and the media.
The full frontal assault on Wikileaks and Assanges did not start until the announcement of upcoming leaks against the banks and other corps. Suddenly, the dropped rape charges resurface and there is the worldwide manhunt and smear campaign.
Just like the situation in our gov't right now. Foot dragging and posturing for two years, but when we get close to the day when the rich might have to pay one penny more in taxes, there is a flurry of activity and all hell breaks loose.
The most pathetic part of it all, in my mind, is seeing everyday people on NV and elsewhere blindly repeating the company line like trained parrots.
